With a lifelong passion for all things creative, Sam's journey as an artist began long before she ever picked up a tattoo machine. Her love for drawing and painting naturally led her to pursue a tattoo apprenticeship in Sioux Falls, where she dedicated herself to mastering the craft.

After years of honing her skills and building a dedicated clientele, Sam fulfilled her dream of owning her own studio, Apex Ink. As the owner and lead artist, she has cultivated a space dedicated to quality, creativity, and client collaboration.

Sam's dedication to her art has not gone unnoticed. She is an award-winning artist, earning multiple first-place awards at conventions for her skill across a variety of styles. While she is exceptionally versatile, Sam has a particular passion for black and gray realism, color realism, trash polka, Watercolor pieces.
